Ok...so that's where all the test leads went.
That little invention was one of those Eureka moments, lamp base from the re-use store, pillow block attached to the platform, so it spins freely. Storing test leads is a PITA, but this really helps. That's just a fraction of my test leads, but now I can just reach for most of the common ones when trying to get something done at the bench.

Those are awfully clean and well organized, if this the standard then I'm not posting pics of my shop.
What the hell.
Now my shop really is in transition. Trying to acquire all the major equipment I'll need before I retire in a few years and the fun money disappears. I've been restoring cars and bikes for the last few decades and I'm done with it, no more lying on back on a cold floor fixing rust.
Also, redoing all the loosy goosy wiring I have thrown up over the years, trying consolidate all the circuits and run a new 220amp line for the mill.
I want to remove all the "temporary" extension cords with 20yrs of dust on them and bring it all up to code, ... or mostly code.

The second pic you can see the SM lathe and mill I just put in place with the engine hoist, want to build some new shelves above the lathe to store all the tooling.
The big hole in the center is reserved for the weekend fun car that comes back into the garage during the summer.
I seem to drive it less and less each year so may sell it soon and use all the extra space for more tools!

Full set of show your shop...
The last two are especially for Susquatch, becuase everyone needs a little chaos, with a sprinkle of swarf on the mill table for good measure!

I love it! Especially the electronics bench. Waaaay nicer than mine. I have a separate space up in my shop mezzanine for that stuff, but I don't have a big bench like yours. Instead I have multiple small ones. I also keep most of my test equipment on shelves to use as needed. It isn't nicely stacked like yours. I expect you turned everything on for the photo op. Very nice. I can't do that. Even if I could, I'd prolly blow a breaker!

Sometimes I take my electronics downstairs into my break room and spread stuff out on the tables and counters in there for a needy project.
But for some reason my wife thinks my break room is her party room so she gives me shit when I clutter it up with tools and stuff. It drives me totally crazy.

Love the old mustang fastback photo in the background. I had a 69 coupe the same colour that got stolen by a chop shop gang, and an orange 70 Mach1 Boss that my brother totalled. It was my favorite car.

You would be very very comfy here. And welcome too if you ever get down this way.

Firmware ? No idea, nothing to do with breast augmentation I'm sure, although I did see some pretty cool tools in that arena when the wifey was seeing an oncology plastic surgeon.
Computer stuff ?
Eye, Eye Captain.
I spotted the milk and cookie, is Santa a frequent visitor ?

What the hell.
Now my shop really is in transition. Trying to acquire all the major equipment I'll need before I retire in a few years and the fun money disappears.

I love your shop too!

I don't like spaces for vehicles. I have two tractors I normally park in the barn for the winter. But the wife made me clean up my break room for my youngest son's wedding and I had to fill that space with stuff from the break room. Empty space is a curse. It always fills up. My poor tractors are still outside! I no like!

Stop worrying about fun money disappearing. Unless you are the type that wants to travel the world all the time, it doesn't work that way. Retiring costs way less than working because working costs money, you can do stuff yourself instead of paying someone else, and you can still do jobs that bring in extra cash as you need it. If I had known what retirement would be like, I'd have retired a lot earlier.

Here's some from the garage ..... from 2017. Been some shifting around, but the content is mostly unchanged. There's a good part of the basement - spare room, once the kids play room, now Dad's playroom (lots of small swiss made machines, tons of watchmakers stuff, 3D printer, polishing and electronics), furnace room (storage and lost wax casting) and the old laundry room (wood working, storage and via wheel in cart, resin 3d printing.

The garage./ Bunch of angles, but the welding stuff, sunnen hone, miniature JS cylindrical grinder, bandsaw and the arbor press somehow managed to remain behind cover

@Mcgyver - the only problem I see in your shop is that there are only 3 tires on the top shelf. Its driving my OCD crazy.... 2 or 4 not 3 unless you tell me you have a 3 wheeler.

Here’s a few of my mess.
It’s a bit out of control right now as I have two projects on the go: CNC mill conversion and getting the kid’s motorcycle up and running.
And I’m still trying to find places for everything.

Bandsaw, drill press, lathe and mill.
IMG_1985.jpeg

Pretty impossible to see what’s going on here but there’s a 20 ton press, sandblast cabinet, slow speed grinder. In behind are my TIG and MIG welders, horizontal bandsaw, jointer, wood lathe and miter saw.
IMG_1986.jpeg

Clamp wall and where the table saw resides.
IMG_1987.jpeg

CNC router, hardware cart, laser engraver and thickness sander.
The air compressor and dust collector are in a lean-to on the other side of the wall.

haha, could only fit three in the available space, forth was somewhere else. They're now stored at work .... a light little shadow graph sits there now. Light enough that I can carry it up a step ladder when its needed

Ok...so that's where all the test leads went.
That's valuable floor space; I relegated my remaining test leads to the less accessible tool storage areas,

These are behind the TV & Laptop:

And these are behind the "Electronic Test Equipment"/"Work Bench:"

Yes, Sus, I included the above in my Floor Plan (PDF Attached):

While I'm at it, here is the link to my walking tour (an update is already on my "After Shoulder" list):
