Christmas 1975, Makita angle grinder that I still have and use often.

My first power tool I purchased as a young 'un , around 1975 ish , a big angle grinder , bought it new , a Wen 7" , it was crap and didn't last long , shoulda bought a Makita . In the seventies I was a welder , I was also very enthusiastic about fixing up vehicles . I lived in the rust belt , relatively new vehicles could be purchased for a fairly reasonable amount of money , along with that came with issues such as rotten sheet metal. Back then I wasn't wealthy at all , funny ..... still not wealthy now ..... whatever , my enthusiasm for fixing up old shit boxes has dwindled considerably , having come to the conclusion that rust never sleeps , it will be back .

I’d have to go with the Black & Decker drill followed by a Circular saw.
