Titan Academy CNC tutorial - any members doing this please post!

Titan 3M part is interesting. It's a round part so it looks like a lathe part but it's done on the mill.

Titan part 3. Back side operations with soft jaws to grip the round shape. I learn lots on every part.

Third pic is the 3 parts 1 to 3. And two of part 3.

I see the rotation fix has failed again. @Jwest7788 sorry buddy need your sleuthing again.

Nice I haven't used softjaws yet did you machine the bolt holes so the jaws can be flipped to be used again?

Ok it looks like this.

I'm doing the tutorial by first drawing the part myself in Fusion. Then I draw it again following along with the CAD expert on the tutorial. They typically use constraints, mirroring, patterns more effectively than I do and I'm learning a lot on how to be more productive and use the additional tools. If you want to get better at CAD in Fusion this is a great way to go.

This is the Titan 4M.

That’s my downfall with cad I’ve never used constraints but they would come in handy changing features.

Finally got this part done. Used a 10-32 roll tap for the threading. Took me forever for some reason. Covid fatigue.
