Yes, that's what I did when jorogi asked.

Jorogi's milled bars arrived, the fit was bang on! Here's the initial fitting....

All that needs to be done is to drill 2 holes to accept the springs and some cursory filing to round the ends and chamfer the holes. Awesome!

I sent the manufacturer a review with photos and a suggestion they use an aluminum bar.

I mounted the plate, I need 3 hands to complete the full cycle out of the water.

Works pretty slick, those lake trout don't stand a chance now.

Looks good, I wonder about having the shaft anodised to keep it from corroding. I know corrosion won't be as big an issue in fresh water but it will still happen.
