Yup, true. Always surprised me to see how much the table flexes even with locked axis clamps on shapers without a front support.

I drove up to the sellers place last night to p/u a small Canadian Buffalo bench drill press and stood in front of the Cincinnati shaper, what an awesome machine!
Talked with the guy for an hour or more, good guy, not unreasonable, I'm sure he would work with you on the price of any of his items.
He took me back to his machine shop, little heaven, a dozen or so separate work stations for milling machines of all kinds, lathes, surface grinders, machines I'd never seen before.
Nothing in his shop less that 60 yrs old and all in perfect working order.
