Ren's Pets is a Canadian owned national pet store chain in Canada.

I discovered them a couple of years when looking for clippers with which to groom my dogs.

All our old as hell members here (myself included) may appreciate the last Wednesday of the month 10% discount for those over 60. In store only though.

Ren’s Pets began as a small Canadian feed and supply store in 1975. With over 46 years in the business, we evolved into the best pet specialty store in Canada. We expanded from our original Oakville location to include a 25,000 square foot distribution center based in Guelph, and 44 stores across Canada with so many more to come!

Just dropping this in here as a reminder

CanCNC Canadian manufacturer of tooling, available via Accusize:

I agree the stuff is really nice.

But are you sure about they are made in Canada? I tried to find them a year ago or so and failed. I'd love to know they really are Canadian.

For clarification purposes only I present the following evidence that clearly disputes any Canadian content to the claim. So many companies pretend to be Canadian and are not without any consequence.

Yup, Can CNC is a trademark of Accusize, offshore products made and labeled for sale in Canada. No different than Busy Bee or other retailers. Maybe a bit duplicitous, but at least the wholesale to retail profit remains in Canada.

From Google AI
According to publicly available information, CanCNC Tooling Solutions is a privately held company, meaning the ownership details are not readily accessible; however, based on its website and branding, CanCNC appears to be a Canadian company focused on providing CNC tooling solutions with a strong presence in the manufacturing industry, likely owned by a group of Canadian investors or entrepreneurs.

In other words, probably not.

After calling a couple of Burnaby (Vancouver) electric motor rebuilders, looking for a starting capacitor for a 50+ year old motor, I was told to try Lee's Electronics in Vancouver. Sure enough they had one in stock for $19. I always find them helpful.
As I arrived home, my better half (and art student currently taking courses that involve electronics) told me that an awful lot of credit card receipts were for Lee's. I laughed as I told her where I had just come back from.

As we get a little older, those little aches and pains start adding up.
