Huge list of unfinished projects for the new year

Whoa!! You're gonna make a view camera! Very cool. What size? Did you base your design around a Deardorff? I've shot a bunch of large format product shots and landscape with my Linhoff. Sadly it's now relegated to a living room decoration.
Speaking of incomplete projects and view cameras, on my list (and almost certainly never to be completed) is making a digital panoramic camera. This raises the question: is there any interest in a Linhof Color 4x5 or a Linhof Kardan Color 45 S (both in good condition and with accessories)?

I'm interested in hearing about the digital panoramic camera build. What sensor were you considering?

The Linhof Color 4x5 is an interesting example and surprising release in my opinion. Of the two though I'd certainly prefer the kardan with it's wider range of movements. Having spent much of last year watching the camera market, there is not much demand for monorail camera's any more. Even field cameras are not getting much interest unless new.

I'd like to hear more if you want to DM me rather than post here what you have and would want to sell for.

My very tentative plan for a large format pano camera was to use the sensor from a scanner and move it across the image plane by rotating the camera. A sort of digital slit scan camera to create results like those from a Cirkut #5 camera.

I forgot all about my 4" rotary table project... only recalled because I'm cleaning up all my fusion project folders and files.

I have the plans completed, and the two gears completed so far

So, I have one more really special project I want to do asap...

It has morphed now though.

I used to be really into Kinetic sculptures, big wall mounted ones. I also wanted to make a regulator style clock with westminster chimes, but wife hates clock chimes, so much so she wouldn't let me take my grandparents Grandmother clock. So I thought I could make a pocket watch with a custom made silver case that I engraved myself instead.

but I've wanted to make one so long that I have since given up watches entirely in favour of my smart phone.

But an engraved custom case remains a thing I want to do, but I've found the best substitute project that has some of the same machining challenges. It is something I'll need and use often. A dial indicator.... with a large face, custom engraved silver case

Clickspring! I love all his work! he sounds like he should have been a teacher somewhere, awesome video's!

I need to build this storage cabinet and workbench asap too.
I’ve been thinking about making myself a new woodworking workbench. One change you may want to consider is having an empty space below your top so that when things fall down through the dog holes they’re easier to find. Plus that gives you a space to put your “ tools currently in use” rather than on the work surface.

I have that... a space about 4 inches deep. My last bench had the same..

@StevSmar I did a redesign of the one posted earlier in this thread because I'd omitted the under worktop space in the last design. I realized trying to pack so many drawers into it was a mistake.

This is the new plan below.
