That’s no good you’re finding it so non-intuitive. So you’re saying its different to how you navigated in Catia?
Ya, Catia had a big ball that you rolled with your fingertips. That was about as intuitive as it gets for rotating a part. You zoomed in and out or panned by holding different buttons with your thumb while you rolled. It was cool cuz you could pick a point and then roll to tag another point behind the part.
Anyway, no point lamenting the past. Catia is gone for me now. It's time to move on.
The thing I'm having trouble with now is distinguishing between pushing and tilting. It's hard to tilt that thing about its center. I keep wanting to tilt it like a joystick about its root. Maybe I'm not holding it right.
I wasn't kidding when I said I wanted to grab it like a goose's neck.
