Supplies Better portable bandsaw blades

Supplies
Cool, thanks for your opinions.
With inventory shortages these days, you never know where you have to go.

I put a starrett on my old bandsaw along with ordering some metal cutting variable pitch blades from "All Blades". That starrett just won't quit keeps cutting and cutting so I don't know how well the new blades actually work.

I'm guessing this is a "call and talk to them" situation as their Store only shows bandsaw mill blades.

If you dig a bit into the web site, it says they also sharpen blades, drill bits, and implies that they do end mills too!

Located in Calgary and Edmonton.

When I started my career, the guys in the prototyping lab bought bulk bandsaw blades on a big reel and then used a spot welder to make blades in whatever length they wanted. Sounds like these guys do that too.

DoAll bandsaws have a butt welding fixture on the saw where blades can be cut, aligned, welded and annealed.
Nice little fixture option if you know a shop with that type of bandsaw.
