WTB/LF 3/4HP/1HP, 120VAC, 8" bench grinder

As the title notes. Brand isn't important, would prefer old school, something that's actually 3/4 or 1 HP, none of this nouveau crap that figgers 2.5 amps is 3/4 horse. Don't have a huge budget but willing to go a buck and a half for the right piece. I'm in the Lethbridge area. Whaddya got?

Came home from work & found one on my driveway, mounted on a stand: 10", 2HP. Overkill, but WTH? Buddy of mine picked one up at a farm auction a few weeks back. Needed a new power switch & grinding wheels. Pics forthcoming.

Wow, good deal, delivery included. Thats a friend. 10 inch, should be able to sharpen some big bits with it, LOL.

He was in the city for parts, brought it with him. The beer required for payback will be expensive. That said, the grinder was 60 bucks, the switch was $30 & I picked up a 10" grinding wheel on Flea Bay for $65, freight in. I'll either need a second wheel or try to balance the wire wheel that made it shake like it was running on washboard.

Try a diamond dressing stone on the wheel to make it true. If you don't have one I've got one you can borrow.
