Response back from seller below.
my comment go see the photos link at bottom. Anybody lathe shopping this very well might be worth the trip.
Hi John,
I'm helping out my friend Shane Carr who owns all this iron. He's retiring
and needs to clean out his shop.
Shane had a nice business doing work for Westinghouse years ago until they
closed their Vancouver ops.

After that he couldn't keep his employees and basically ran it as a one man
shop for the past ten years. He just likes to collect old American machines.
Many of these he saved from scrappers and restored them and used them every
day in his job shop. He's now bought a shop on Vancouver Island but the
majority of the iron has to go, and by the end of next month.
All of these machines have been either rebuilt or put back to perfect
running order. One of the Monarch 62's had the ways reground, it's like
new. Many have interesting stories..
If you look up user collector on practical machinist you'll see Shane's
posts.
I'd really like to find homes for this stuff. There's some real bargains
too, three #5 cinci horizontals with power overarns. All three for $5k.
Or a 15x60 Churchill surface grinder that has no takers at 5k..
There's a bunch of project lathes as well, a pacemaker with minor issues
for 5k, and a big lodge and shipley that is partially dis assembled. Along
with several other older lathes that would go for 1k each.
Thanks for the interest.

Shane is an amazing machinist and a real gentleman and has a huge amount of
pride in his shop.
