I just tried creating a new post in the "Request a part, job, or quote from members" thread three times and all went into a "Waiting Approval" state???

My post for 3” had the waiting for approval message as well. It eventually appeared though.

Actually that doesn't explain it either. @Johnwa 's post never made it to the top of the What's new list until someone replied to it. Maybe the approval mechanism doesn't push it up.
