Victoria Glass shop auction

17% Buyers Premium plus GST 5% and PST 7% is charged on top of your bid price

Some interesting lots of metals but Ouch on the fees and taxes.
On Bidspotter it is usually 18% buyers premium and 13% tax.
You have to follow the auctions right to the end. i Bought two file drawer cabinets at an online auction. Expecting to buy just the file cabinets. My bid was $4.00 American money each cabinet. When I went to get them they were full of brazed carbide tooling, taper shank drills reamers, boring bars and parallels. Took two trips to get everything home. This was an auction in Stony Creek for a CNC shop. These were in the back room and for manual machines so no pictures were taken for the auction.some of the parallels were 3”x 3” x 24”.
Some stuff goes expensive, some stuff is a gift. Right place right time I guess.

Ya gotta luv surprises,,, good surprises.

I haven't done any auctioning but watch quite a few equipment auctions. I'm thinking of trying my a hand at a couple of things on this one since they're in the neighbourhood.
