It's a Milling vise. Likely works just fine, but a Shaper Vise would be better!

At least this seller is not on crack at the value of the machine!

And THAT'S why the value on it is as low as it is!

Takes a special combination of space and ability, to find a machine that size a decent home!
 
Big machines used to be cheap! But not anymore - up to 6000 lbs premium $$$
If I did not have a shaper I would drive for it from Calgary for sure.
I mean its like touch more than scrap price!
