I have about 22 swivel casters 6 inches in diameter. When new they were 2000 pound rated each. There are enough good parts to make 10 or 12 usable swivel casters.

Too bad you are so far away John.

I like to put all my farm equipment on custom carts using Dolly's like that so I can roll them into a better arrangement for storage in the barn. I'd prolly just spray them or dip them in oil and use them as is.

Maybe that will give a Calgary area member an idea though.
 
Too far for me as well. I picked up a bunch of used castors and attached them to 24 X 18 3/4 inch plywood. I have my rotary table, dividing head and four jaw chuck on them and slide them under my work bench out of the way. Makes them easier to get at and move into place.
