Starrett Micrometer Set

Hi Everyone,

I have a set of Starrett 436m micrometers (0-150) to sell.
I’m new to machining and thought before I knew better I figured metric mic’s would be needed when starting out…….nope ‍

Anyways I bought these a year ago and would now like to sell them and get some tools I need.
They were in as new condition when I bought them and are still in the same A++ shape.

Would like to get back what I paid for them so asking price is $950.
Willing to figure out shipping with you.

Well you could just use them...use metric and when needed convert.

True enough I could just convert but as a new machinist that’s just one more opportunity for mistakes to happen. I don’t need any more opportunity in that department lol

Not sure what technology you have but both Siri and Google can convert metric to Imperial and vice versa with just voice. I have a google home mounted centrally where my machines are. Works great. I'm an age related imperial fellow too. I can do both but prefer imperial. Voice conversion is fast and easy. You can even do math that way.
