Well it's now past 10:30 PM and as the air has cooled the smell of smoke has now appeared. Can't see a haze with the yard floodlights but I'll be in the morning we'll have some colour to the sky.
I was wondering when you westerners would raise the issue of forest fires. I've been getting high altitude smokey haze over here on a daily basis way the heck over in southern ontario. I'm surprised theres any thing left out west to burn! Hope y'all are staying safe out there!!!
This was Tuesday here in Calgary....rolled in fast, I was watching the visibility reports for other reasons, it was down to 1/2m at the airport during mid day
Not my photo, it's from rock 95 FM's Facebook account
This was from 2015. Not nearly as bad here at the moment not even the smell like last night. And no. The photo taken at 10:36AM has not been retouched.
