Small diamond "core drills"? for sale

Ian Moss

I have 16 diamond core drills for sale ranging from 1/16" to almost 7/8". Not a complete set and some duplicates. They have been used by others, I have never come across a need for them, so time to move them on.
One could use them by making a solid mandrel for them to thread on to and then peck through a ceramic or whatever work piece keeping them wet manually, or fab your own mandrel to feed water under moderate pressure through the tubular drill. The whole lot are yours for $50 plus shipping.

The shortest one is about 1" and the longest 3". You can get an idea of the in between ones by comparing them in the pictures. If you have a specific need, I can let you know the closest size.

I saw a name marking "lunzer" on one bit and did a search. Their website is very interesting, they do custom application diamond tooling and a lot more. If u interested check it out.

What kind of thread is in the nut ?
The trouble is one needs the driver and rotary joint for water delivery thru the bit to make them of any use.

I do lapidary work and use tiny bits 1.5 - 3.5 mm

Ok, rearranged the pics to show all the drills with the large mount in the first pic, and the smaller diameter mount in the second. The large mount is 1"x14 tpi and the smaller set are 5/8 x 18 tpi. Both of these sizes show up on my wall chart of thread sizes. The smallest sizes are 1.6 and 2 mm.

This looks like a great deal if one needs them or can figure out a way of making use of them. I bet if you got a factory new quote for these you wouldn't need Pepto Bismal for quite a while.
