I'm retiring and closing my motorcycle component restoration shop, (www.tophrestorations.ca) Over the next while I will be posting my equipment here and Kijiji. Here First. Tonight I'm posting the info on my mill, I'll take pics tomorrow and makes sure I haven't missed anything.
Mill is FRV30-200 I bought it new in 2004 It might have 200 hours, probably less. I fitted power feeds to both X and Y The table is 31 1/2 x 9 1/2 The head rotates 360 degrees on the X plane if that makes sense. It's R8 spindle with 5" of quill travel 15" of column travel 8" of y travel and 30" of x travel Column is Dovetail and powered T slots are 5/8 weighs 350 Kg without the wood stand.
Its 1 1/2 HP 220 single phase. It comes with:
Sowa 6" vise, Vertex 8" rotary table and tailstock, 2 axis DRO and a small DRO fitted to the quill. Clamp set,
R8 ER40 collet nose and collets, 2 " face mill with about 10 inserts, 123 blocks, 1/8 and 1/16 parallel sets metric and Std counter bores to 1/2 Assorted counter sinks mostly 82 degree Rohm 1/2 drill chuck, 3/8 jacobs chuck on a 1/2 arbour, 2" boring head, 3" boring head both R8 Co ax indicator, 4 jacks, 4" angle plate and approx 40 milling cutters in various sizes in a small drawer box,
I'm asking 6500.00 for the lot. It's in a Fir stand that I made because it was too short even for me the metal stand is sitting on a ledge all the way around the stand and it has adjustable feet. I also have a chip curtain that can go with it if needed. It's a good machine and has turned out very good work for me, when I got it I took the gearbox and quill apart and replaced all the bearings with SKF and Timkens on the quill and never looked back. I've tried to be as accurate as possible in the description, if you have questions please ask. All the tooling is in very good shape.
