Selling machining inserts

Hey everyone my father passed last year and we found he had a small collection of brand new machining inserts and other tooling. I'm trying to find if there is somewhere in the calgary area that would buy them for a fair price. My mom just doesn't have the time to sort through, look up prices and try to sell individually. Here is a sample of what i am talking about.

Thanks for looking

Nice of you to post here. I'm sure someone will want them.

On a side note, I'm sure it is a pain to sell stuff like this when someone passes away. There really should be a society or group that handles this for widows so they don't get taken advantage of. When I go Gods know what my wife will do with all my tools.

The insert are much more marketable if you have the holders for the inserts. I'd be happy to come down and help you sort the thing out as to values, etc. - it will only take a few minutes. The resale value depends on the size of the inserts. If you only have the inserts and not the holders, it will me much harder to sell them. So far I've paid about 1/2 retail when buying privately - from kijiji, etc for new stock that fit the holders I have.

If I go, my wife knows the names and contact details for my machining friends so they can help her sell the stuff off and not give them away. Groups like this can really help.
