Scrap it or auction it off?

Heavy duty container. At least 200lbs and probably more like 250 or even 300. At least 25 cad at the scrapper. Sell used for 300 usd. No takers in Calgary. Should I scrap it and get sure $ or risk it on auction? Anyone wants it for scrap price?
