As I will be mounting the unit on the other side I will send you some pictures. What I did worked well, but it's not rocket science. If it was, I did the equivalent ofTom, I have a Vevor power X feed that I have not yet attached to my mill. My mill is very much not enough like a Bridgeport to 'plug and play'. I think yours is not either? Love to see a photo of how you attached/ adapted it, or maybe next time I'm visiting the kids on Texada I'll take a side trip up to your place and see in person?
I was noticing the right side has an extra collar that might get in the way.180 the lead screw, I had to do that with mine.
So looking at my mill (an XLO) I can't see a reason to rotate the lead screw. The "race" that came with the drive fits right onto the shaft. ( had to turn an adapter to make it fit the other end). I do need to make a 1/4" spacer for between the mounting plate and the drive unit so it lines up correctly with the race, but (so far) it seems to be working.Take the supports off each end of the table and spin it out from the nut. You may need to unbolt the nut as well depending on how your machine is built. Make sure you keep track the support parts/spacers so they don't get mixed up.
