I had a welding instructor that used to say "that anything worth making was worth painting".I vote you paint it but only if you promise that you will never show it to any of the other members' management - especially not mine. The last thing I need is to have to start painting things.
If you ever have a fire in there you will regret not using high temp paint. On the other hand, if you ever have a fire in there, you will regret a lot of things a lot more than that!
Personally, I doubt it matters but why not! Since you already have the paint, I'd use it.
