Mystery Atlas Lathe Attachment

I recently bought a box of tooling that included an atlas 10-12 inch lathe milling attachment (10-501) with its proper vise, however it also came with this attachment as well. It mounts on to the cross slide perfectly which makes me believe it probably doesn't belong anywhere else.

I have never seen it before nor could I find it in any catalogs... It has a T slot going through the center and a threaded hole in the front.

Has anyone come across this attachment before or know anything about it ?

It is. This particular one is missing the dial and crank on the top so I will have to make one for it.
