Not really a hobby shop lathe unless you are into building huge things......seems under priced at $3500000 . It would be a steal at 4 million....hahahahaha
 
Yikes, in the description he is asking $35,000. Not sure if that was a typo as well or he really wants that much for it.
 
35k is also a bit over the top - maybe 25k is more like it.

If they really wanted it sold they would auction it off. But many of these lathes are from auctions bought expensive and now resold even more expensive.
 
at 35K it is in the ballpark, but at that price it should have a good going over by a millwright before a final price is established. my guess is that it goes for slightly over 20K
