I have pretty good experiences with a Partner 4 wi. Cent V controller, to the extent that I bought the sister machine to the one I used to run at work, when it was listed on Crown Assets.

Very much like Fadal was reputed to be, they used a LOT of off the shelf components in the drivelines for the various axiis. Dead easy to troubleshoot and fix!
