I went and saw this a year ago or so when the photos hid more detail.

It's all in really rough shape and the shoe clamps are HUGE. No use to me.

Really nice young fellow though.

I posted this for you milling guys, milling tools are so expensive I thought there must be some serious money to be saved.

There often is so your effort is really appreciated.

In this case the stuff is quite badly rusted and has been sitting in pails and open boxes for years. Even so, the clamps and other non-cutting stuff is pretty much all really big stuff that doesn't really work well for hobbiests. I have no use for 12" toe clamps. But I'd love 3 inch ones even if they are all rusty. His photos don't make all that very obvious which is why I posted about my visit.
 
......if they were closer, or perhaps lighter for shipping. :rolleyes: I figure that if I finally collect enough tooling I might actually make the old horizontal mill a priority. Seeing them stacked in a bucket sucks, but not as bad as finding them in the landfill....
