"Metalworker" 7x12 mini lathe

Never heard of this brand but looks like the other 7x12s

Thoughts?

I like what @Jswain said here:

This is very solid advice. But I'd water it down a bit. Don't be afraid of losing a little in the process. Think of it as rent and the cost of an education.

Metal Worker was sold by House of tools. I had one in 7x12. No complaints other than it's size. Upgraded after about two years.
Ah good to know, the red deer units might be back on the menu as some things changed regarding his availability, I'll keep people posted, the fellow say that he has barely any use on them, I know it's not the best price but I like the mentality of treating any "loss" on resale like a rental

I think the bonus on those machines is that you get to see them before buying.

And IMO there is no loss, it is all justified by $/(pleasure over the years). I owned a 1976 Ferrari for 10 years and had bills for CA$26k plus fuel, lots of it. At 2600/year it was a bargain.

Agreed and really good point :) and nice about the Ferrari, that is a once in a life time thing if that for anyone, good point that at $2600/year it's very worth it.
