Interesting. Ours here in Victoria will no longer let anyone into the stock area nor office but one can still show up at the door and they’ll take an order. We just have to stand outside the door while they go select and and cut. A bit easier to do that down here, I guess.
Edit: as of December anyway, haven’t been out there since.
We remain open to serve you, but are restricting customer access to our store, effective December 14th. During this time, we will only be operating via phone or email sales.
I talked to the Manager quite a bit about that. They installed shields, limited walk-in, offered curbside and put PPE in place before most others. But customers kept ignoring their policies and they had to call police on more than one occasion. I felt safer there than my grocery store. I feel badly for businesses and know I am in a privileged position not to have to stress over a business interest or be in the workplace anymore. I wish all businesses well.
I needed to pick up a piece of brass a couple weeks ago and was not aware of the policy until I saw the sign on the door. Called the number and five minutes later they handed me my brass rod out back.
