Thank goodness a deal like this didn't come up when I wanted to add a milling machine to shop. I'd probably still be wishing for a more capable mill. But just as I was at the time, I'm sure there are guys out there that this would be an adequate fit for a good price.
 
@DPittman , yeah, the irony of those machines, is that they will actually do a lot of good work, in the hands of the guy that has the depth and breadth of experience to draw upon, to be able to deal with the oddball set-ups and the limitations of the designs, yet they are so often sold to guys with neither the knowledge or experience needed to make them work well, causing, I think, a lot more guys to quit playing with machine tools, than to get good results and start to really enjoy the hobby!
