yup, I didn't read the fine print & fell for the eye grab myself. I see some Mitutoyo boxes in the mix so obviously some bucks in there.
 
I called the guy last Saturday and he sounded like he was playing a game; apparently nothing was 'available' for sale until Sunday (earliest) and I asked for a sample of prices so I could gauge how realistic he's trying to be. He said he had no prices whatsoever and would 'look them up online ' and then come up with HIS price afterwards.

Anyone I've ever talked to that engages in this 'wait and see how much you'll pay' approach...has ended up in a wasted trip.

Probably not.

His attitude of not splitting the package is the main issue for me. What do I need two recip saws for? I already have some of this, so doubling up isn't much use.
