Thank you for your business! Even though it's been paltry
We notice that you’ve been paying by credit card, and as an rarely active client we would like to set you up on a Net 30 day open account to make purchasing all your tooling needs even easier. And perhaps you'll actually buy something this year....
To get your open account please provide the information below and reply back to my email or if you have a prefilled form you can simply attach to this email and reply back to me."
I suspect that if you have a business account that you'd settle it with a cheque once per month. Given the costs to the retailer for credit or bank cards cashing a cheque is less expensive.. Remember, 3% on $100 is $3. Might not seem like a lot but multiply that by 100 customers and it's a bigger number.
I do spend at KBC but it's cyclic depending on the project. And some of my purchases haven't been small.
But again, once I have some of the capital equipment the tooling is likely the ongoing cost. For example I have to get 6 more of these made. I have 20 in stock from the last order but I need a total of 26.
My CNC supplier won't make less that 25 at a time and that's at a cost of $46 each. The HAAS equipment and how they use it make beautiful items. I think, since I have a few months, I'm going to try it myself. I can always panic and absorb the cost but it's time I ran my CNC machine for this type of project.
Will I need cutters better than what I have bought from China? Likely. We'll see. KMS may see a bit more money from me.
