I feel the price is high, but I'm still tempted. What a beauty. Don't really have the space though, sigh. J&S, top of the heap in grinders, tough to walk on by one.
 
I have use a JS grinder, and you can be sure they are very well built. My friend paid 37K$ for a used one, sight unseen, from England about 20 years ago. He was able to hold sub-tenths with his.

I wish ...... you think you live in free country? Start building a shed in your backyard lol, can't see getting away with in an urban area. Besides , talk is cheap when you've got the no space excuse :) The one I really would have liked to get, shed-worthy, was the JS combo T&CG / cylindrical grinder than one of the good members bought. That was special.
 
Buy some rusty reclaimed sheet metal, cover a ready made amish shed with it. Hire a crane for an overnight covert drop in the backyard. Tell neighbors it's been there forever and gaslight them into thinking they're losing it. Over the next couple months, start removing the sheet metal to spruce up that "old shed". Voila. New laser and grinding dept. :D.
