You have to use Facebook for a while before they will give you marketplace access. Basically, it's Facebook's way of making sure you are a real person and that you are not a scammer.

I hate Facebook with a passion, but getting good deals on farm equipment requires marketplace, so I use Facebook just enough to keep me in good standing.
