What is a "Hydraulic Tracer"????

Check out Keith Fenner on You Tube has one and has done a number of vids using it. Its essentially a hydraulic compound slide for a lathe. It can automatically turn complex 2 dimesional shapes by following a flat one dimension pattern. Old school CNC lathe!

Yeah and Keith uses a Cnc plasma to make the pattern to trace! Ha! Not sure how to make a complex pattern - tracing and a band saw?
