I have a 20x30 shop out back now for 25 years. Although electrician/control tech by trade I love to fab things whether metal or wood. I got a desktop CNC router early December and have been learning CAD/CAM Carveco Maker. I did AutoCad 13 way back and some of it is similar. Now doing a Gcode course and Easel. Not sure how many CNCers on here but looking forward to exploring and learning. Cheers, Mike.

Welcome from Victoria.
I built a PrintNC router about a year or so ago and just recently delved into the laser cutter/engraver world.

Thanks for the reply. I also have a laser, Genmitsu 5.5w . However, I figure I will get up to speed on the router software before I attempt to learn that. Good to know someone who is delving into this as well.

Welcome from lumby I haven't done much yet but I messed around with converting a proxxon mf 70 mini mill and I found vcarve pro very simple to use compared to some other software especially for 2d stuff but in future I plan on making a cnc plasma table once I build a shop
