Something weird about this. The two pictures are identical. Same white 1 gal jug on the ways, red can in front and chuck keys on the headstock.

I wonder if he was overwhelmed with buyers, realized his price was too low, and “sold” it to himself and is now listing again.

Maybe too lazy to take a new picture so used one from the old listing?

Or he bought it for $450 and now wants the $1200.

It's the latter as it was a different seller before.

Agree with DavidR8 here -- different seller and different location. Sold off parts; screwed up the electrics and can't be bothered to take their own pics of what it currently looks like. Not promising.

Had some time before my ferry so stopped in to see this—still available at lower price
Couple of things for the suspicious
Found out after purchase he did not have 3phase in shop
Big farm workshop but no 3 phase so never connected mains.
Also around same time he stumbled on a good original 10 EE which is now keeping this beast company and also waiting for power
His interest in the Hendey has … waned
Who amongst us has not been there!

Probably a nice machine with a bit of elbow grease. The 3-phase is easy to overcome.
