In the 90’s I had one like this with the copy attachment I bought of of Modern Tool.
 
It's everything above the 10k, rigidity, speed, power. With this, carbide makes sense to me, on the 10k, while I often use it, because of the lack of everything above I find myself going through inserts faster than I would like. If I were closer..... And the timing a little better..... And.....;)
