Hi list, looking for a really good Samaritan travelling east from Calgary and passing by Moose Jaw. I have a 20 lb box (approximate) of metal parts sitting at a Calgary members home that needs come to Moose Jaw. No huge rush, any takers out there?

So where's Chicken lights when you need him? LOL

Ok.... Who in Calgary is holding Bill's junk hostage LOL?

David (@Chicken lights) what route are you planning to get home from Edmonton by?

Might be able to work something out here? Maybe?

Good morning Craig, actually it's our over priced postal system that hold ones junk (for want of a word) hostage. Like going to your local vehicle service department to have a $50.00 component changed out with labour running off the clock. Did I say that..... LOL

It's this box of metal...Bill liked the vise so much he wants more metal to work on. I could meet someone and give it to them to give to Bill if that works.

I was on the base for three years in the late 90s, I never worked so hard to go so slow (headwind) riding to the base from downtown. For a BC boy the land is,,,,,, well ,,, kinda flat.

Funny I have a box of cut-offs that look just like that. It's some 4340 I got from @John Conroy that was cut from a 6.75" dia log.

Nice pile of 'junk' Craig, although not the same as there's no shoes showing in John's photo. Oh you mean the cardboard boxes, yes they appear similar don't they. Great collection of 1/4 moon paper weights! LOL

Hey.... don't make fun of a guy's junk eh.

One of those 1/4 moon paper weights as you call them got repurposed into a keyway broach. I fact, I got two broaches out of one piece.

Still lots of life left in that junk.

Hi Craig, no pun intended. They say one man's junk is another man's treasure whoever 'they' are!

Nice broch I've never used one likely missed out on a great experience.
