I'm looking on the Autodesk/F360 site and I see a price of $915/year. The autorenewal quote was $675 for F360 without extensions, but if they are offering the same for $457 its a no-brainer. So just wondering how you found the discount coupon?

Thanks for that! This would be a deal for a new user or someone currently paying monthly. I doesn't apply to renewals - but the kicker is that the new subscriber is locked into their $915/year renewal price after the first year.

Yes, I'm debating buying but I hate that there's no multi-year discount.

my latest bill from Autodesk - but Gerrit's discussion on how to use Fusion CAM on the hobby license is intriguing. @Arbutus don't instructors get a massive discount? More generally - what kind of courses do I need to be taking to qualify for a student price? Cont. Ed. ?

In 2021 and 2022 it was $580+gst. and in 2027 they tell me it will go up more.

Same invoice for my subscription. But yes, if you are a registered student with a school ID and StudentID and an edu email, you may qualify for the edu discount. Note that it is for one year only and must be renewed using the school credentials. At UFV the faculty had a site license that the instructors and students linked into.

We experienced an enormous amount of frustration when both accounts were used at the same time - normally I work at home, develop the model, verify, generate toolpaths, etc then pass the design to the Edu team account for the students to work with. Nah. Doesn't happen. There are all kinds of restrictions that limit what the students can do so we gave up trying that approach.

IMHO Autodesk has you by the short and curlies, no matter what.
