Today I took a brief break from taxes and drove to Amherstburg to pick some Morels at my son's place. We had some with burgers tonight.



Tomorrow, my bride is going to make mushroom risotto.

That’s great! I’ve picked Morels at the cottage but not enough to do anything with. They were tough to find until we started to get used to what to look for.

When my brother lived in Colwood near Victoria my Aunt would pick the mushrooms ( magical ) and take them to the Pizza place he’d put them on the pizza if you gave him a slice.
