Anyone in the local Victoria area have a carving knife they've used for soft foam. I've used scissors but it's kind of ragged.

I’d hit the thrift stores for one.
Or build a hot wire foam cutter :D

The real deal is similar to a carving knife but there are two flat sided blades against each other that move in opposite directions providing a nice clean cut. Depending upon what you're trying to do you might see if a foam shop (McGeachies if they're still around) could help you out.

I redid the foam on my quad seat and I used a small angle grinder and flap wheel. If you do, go light and gentle, it will eat foam like a piranha.
