Ok, so @Janger asked to see my home made dry cut saw.
I guess that description is a little misleading lol
What this is, is a CTD aluminum saw that I converted (repurposed) after buying the whole thing for 80 bucks.
It had a 3 phase, 308volt (I thi k), peeled that off, sold it, then picked up the Baldor.
I stuck with the dual belt setup it was built with.
It's been in service for 2 plus years.
Obviously with it being a "made" unit, there's been a learning curve.
Harder materials take a little longer.
But I have successfully lopped a 2" diameter king pin from a Kenworth in half with it.
oh and the blades...
I can't say enough about Diablo Steel Demon blades.
Let's be honest...it's probly the blades that make this unit remotely awesome.
Still have to come up with a better means of a table clamp watcha call it...
reeeaally should get on that actually...
