Scrappers here are very picky about what they take. And they give you nothing for it.

Well the ad does say wood work, stick a large tree trunk in that baby and start making wood chips.

Would make a hell of a bowl lathe. Chop the entire bed off and sell for scrap, then make a swinging tool rest bolted to the floor. The end of the bed, could make a nice base for a welding/fab table too.....Think not what it "was", but what it "could" be. It's working years as a metal lathe are over. It's either the ladle, or another life serving a different purpose.

Sometimes it's a good thing I don't have a giant shop with unlimited room......
