Does the Name "Chambly Machine Works" Ring a Bell with Anyone Here?

Hey everyone, just curious if anyone could enlighten me on who Chambly Machine Works is/was. I had never heard of them until I got this 4x60 belt sander last year at an auction. Used it once to flatten a Dodge 5.7 exhaust manifold but the belt that came with it was tired and just barely finished the job before wetting the bed.

Got some new coarse grit belts for it and it will be mounted to one of the highway tractor drums beside it in the not too distant future. For the price I couldn't say no, as it was a quarter of the price of the motor alone . . . And it will be handy to just be able to sand the "Hemi" manifolds flat rather than all the milling setup and mess.

But yeah, anyone ever heard of this company before? The "79-550" stamp makes me wonder if it was made in '79, would be almost as old as me. And my 6-year-old son says I'm "older than dirt!"
