So just over three years ago I sold 10 of these for like under $10 each... suddenly now there is market for these.

Is it a plus/minus reading DIAL (plunger) indicator? (not a DTI = dial TEST indicator picture at a funny angle?). But the plunger tip looks like a dial indicator.
I was going to say its probably just a different +/- face which & would be useful, but the mini counter is only in one direction. Didn't t know they made these.

Seems like a coincidence, but that DI was manufactured in Waltham Massachusetts. Same location as the Waltham Watch company, (I have several of their pocket watches.) In the advertisement I attached, the Ames company also made speedometers and watches!

Matches my lathe DRO well within 0.0005”, possible to extrapolate to 0.0001”. Definitely better resolution than I need for the work I do.

Nice bit of accuracy for a low price. Super handy with a mag base on a lathe cross slide for precision turning.
