Craftex 601 Mill & Tooling and Lathe

The lathe is listed at 4575 with about 575 worth of tooling not including what it came with (i.e. way too much in my opinion). Its an old LuxCut 1136. CX707 is new at 5300 but far better machine as well as CX701 at same price (4000) and is 12 x 28 vs 11 by 36.
Mill is listed at 4300 with less then 1200 worth of tooling (including DRO) I have a feeling author of the ad feels like its actually 1300 worth of tooling. Since the machine NEW is 3000 plus tax I feel like its a bad deal as well. I would spend extra $ for tax and get brand new machine.
I noted that cx709 has increased in price by over 1000 in the last 5 years (!) at BB.
