That’s a nice clean looking machine. Is that live centre spring loaded. And when you were showing me the power cross feed that was on this machine right.

I've tried to take good care of it, keep everything oiled and free of chip buildup.

The centre is not spring loaded. It is extra long so you can work closer to the tailstock. Spring loaded would not give you the rigidity you want. Sideways tool pressure could pop it right out of the centre.

And yes, the power cross feed is on the actual lathe. Still the only one I have - until Friday when the bigger one arrives.
