Snowing yes. Me leaving anywhere to go get another machine tool, not happening (right now anyway). Maybe a bigger lathe in the summer.

Nah, I'm good. As much as I do want a cold saw someday, 2 grinders is 1 too many for now. I got off on a machine tool side quest this winter, and while nice that they're all done, It took me off some projects I was really hoping to get done before the grass started growing again. No more big tool purchases for now. More project finishing.

Don't quit posting them though. Never know. I'm pretty impulsive lol. :D

.....listen to you, sounding all responsible like....... You know that you want them, and all good stories start with a snow storm. If it's still snowing, the grass isn't growing, so you still have time to drywall that bathroom. Nothing saying that you have to finish this winter, you've been busy old boy, relax, enjoy a nice refreshing glass of Kool aid........o_O

Seems the best time to get a "cold" saw would be in the middle of a snow storm

Just think the mature, responsible thing to do would be to pick them up, try the two grinders and flog the loser.

I can't fault your logic, and normally I'd be up for something like that, except for the space thing. There's just no room to have two grinders fight to the death to determine a winner.

The grinder is gone anyway. Only the saw remains. And I have no room for that either.

Got a pair of sea cans and a 12x20 shelter?
I would love to put up something like that here, and do have a great spot for it. Just need to do some dirt work first, and don't have a working tractor at the moment. One funny part about my land is that there isn't a flat part greater than 3' square on the entire property. Including the garage floor.....
