Is this still available?

Hi Vanboy,

There are two sections on the forum that involve equipment for sale.

The classifieds section is where members buy and sell stuff to each other.

The member spotted deals is where members spot something for sale elsewhere on the internet that they think members might be interested in. These are usually on Facebook, or ebay, or Kijiji, or Craig's list or wherever.

This particular lathe is in member spotted deals therefore members don't know if it is still available or not. You have to follow the provided links to find out for yourself.

If it had been in classifieds, it would be different.

If you are looking for a lathe, it's good to look in both places, but most lathes will be found in member spotted deal. You can feel free to solicite opinions of members about the price or features or value. Members will help you decide whether it's a good deal or not.

On the other hand, you can ask the seller questions about items for sale in classifieds, but we don't allow evaluations of member equipment. That's between you and the seller.

Thanks, i see that now, listing is long gone and the kijiji link that would have brought me there looked like a generic kijiji ad. Thanks again!

Looks in a bit rough of a shape - but still even for ON it was a great deal - even with original variac gone and spot for VFD empty. These are excellent little lathes.
